Economic Commission for Africa Opens Eight Sessions in Lagos
| dc.description | The Eight Session of the Economic commission for Africa (ECA) was opened at National Hall, Lagos by Lieutenant Colonal Yakubu, Head of the Federal Military Government and Supreme Commission of the armed forces of Nigeria. Agenda was adopted for the session and approved the organization of its work. The commission also heard statements by Philippe de Seynes, UN- Secretary for Economic and social affairs; Gabriel d’arboussier, Executive Director of the UN institute for training and research (UNITAR); Mohamed Mili, representative of the international telecommunication Union, Robert, Macy, Resident representative of the UN Development Programme (UNDP) in Nigeria; and Robert K.A. Gardiner, Executive Secretary of ECA., addressing the meeting. | en |
