dc.description	Participants from the ECA, Office of the Special Envoy for Sudan and South Sudan, HABITAT, and UNoAU, who are responsible for steering the planning and reporting of their respective sub-programs, attended a planning and reporting training from 15-19 October at the UN Conference Centre. The workshop focused on the new approach to the UN’s results-based frameworks as part of the Secretary-General’s reform, which among other objectives, seeks to demonstrate value in the work of the UN. Participants drafted program plans centered on divisional work plans and compacts, with examples drawn from other strategic planning exercises. At the ECA, the workshop adds to existing efforts to improve the planning workflow, support program implementation, improve accountability and evaluate performance based on quality.	en
