| dc.description | The tenth Session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development was held on 23-25 April 2024 at the UN Conference Center, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in a hybrid format to allow both in-person and virtual participation. The theme was Reinforcing the 2030 agenda for sustainable development and agenda 2063: the Africa we want, of the African Union and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises-the effective delivery of sustainable resilient, and innovative solutions. The Forum was organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in collaboration with the African Union Commission, the African Development Bank, and the United Nations system organizations. Side events and pre-events took place during the forum. A knowledge fair event organized by KMSS. Patricia Narsu Ndanema, Chairperson, Human Rights Commission, Sierra Leone, said this is the knowledge fair where we have different booths, we have different organizations explaining what the organizations are doing. Towards the realization of the agenda and also that of the aspirations of 2063. The knowledge fair has been a learning center because we have speakers, from different countries, different backgrounds, and also countries telling us what they have achieved so far in terms of realizing, I mean the goals and also the aspirations. In this knowledge fair event if you look around, you have got different booths, now here we have the one for OHCHR and also that of NANHRI, we have a lot of partners coming in asking us what we are doing. | en |
