| dc.description | The tenth Session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development was held on 23-25 April 2024 at the UN Conference Center, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in a hybrid format to allow in-person and virtual participation. The theme was Reinforcing the 2030 agenda for sustainable development and agenda 2063: the Africa we want, of the African Union and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises- the effective delivery of sustainable resilient, innovative solutions. The Forum was organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in collaboration with the African Union Commission, the African Development Bank, and the United Nations system organizations. Side events and pre-events took place during the forum. A knowledge fair event organized by KMSS. Ms. Lucy Mulenkei from the Indigenous Information Network expressed her enthusiasm for the 10th forum on African Sustainable Development Goals. She highlighted the significance of the knowledge fair in enhancing the understanding of different people. Ms. Mulenkei, who represents Indigenous people and local communities, emphasized the value of gaining knowledge and sharing it with others. She stressed the importance of addressing issues such as climate change, which has significantly impacted the lives and livelihoods of many people in Africa. | en |
