| dc.description | On February 16, 2024, the Executive Secretary of ECA met with Winnie Byanyima, the Executive Director of UNAIDS. During the meeting, he expressed his pleasure at discussing changing the narrative regarding funding for healthcare systems in Africa and diversifying funding sources to establish resilient healthcare systems. He emphasized the importance of de-risking investments to attract private sector involvement and ensure sustainable financing for healthcare across Africa.
