dc.descriptionOn September 29-30, 2011, a media workshop called the African Governance Report (AGR III) was held in Nairobi, Kenya. The workshop was organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and brought together media representatives from across Africa to discuss the theme of Elections and the Management of Diversity in Africa. The workshop was part of a larger research project that aimed to gain a deeper understanding of democracy, elections, and diversity management in 42 African countries. The findings of this project will be published in the third edition of the African Governance Report, which includes the views of the media in its analysis.
