Hu Changchun, the head of the Chinese mission to the AU and representative to UNECA, extended warm wishes for a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration between China and Africa. He reaffirmed China's commitment to working with UNECA and the African continent to foster a community of shared future under initiatives such as the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and the Belt and Road Initiative.
Hu highlighted the enduring solidarity between China and Africa on matters of mutual interest, emphasizing the significance of language education in deepening understanding of China's rich history, culture, and modernization journey.
