| dc.description | Capacity-Building Workshop for the Ethiopian Securities Exchange (ESX) was held on 06-07 July 2023 at Radisson Blu Hotel Addis Ababa. The workshop was co-organized by the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH), Ethiopian Securities Exchange (ESX), and FSD Africa. The capacity-building workshop addressed various topics, including the money market, fixed-income market, equity market, policymaking, and market development. According to Paul Gicheru, Executive Director, and Chief Investment comments on the role of partnership success in the Capacity Building Workshop, partnerships would be novel to rolling out the ESX proposal. These skills across the board will be brought to make sure that it is a success. For example, partners from other countries come to work with local partners to provide a bit of capacity building, the software know-how, and the skills needed. The internal and external partners must work together to ensure whatever the ESX delivers. | en |
