The United Nations General Assembly approved the Arabic language as an official UN language on December 18, 1993. In his closing remarks at the celebration of Arabic Language Day 2022, the Director of ACS, MR. Oliver Chinganya noted the event demonstrated that cooperation between the ECA and its Member States is doing well and has grown stronger and better over the years.en
