CLPA 2014: Closing Plenary - Priorities for Implementing the Africa Land Agenda in the Coming Decade
| dc.description | The conference on Land Policy in Africa was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 11 to 14 November 2014, on the theme “The next decade of land policy in Africa: ensuring agricultural development and inclusive growth.” The Land Policy Initiative (LPI) division organized this conference. The theme was selected in support of the declaration of 2014 by the African Union as the “Year of Agriculture and Food Security in Africa.” Stephen Karingi chaired the closing of plenary sessions, and stakeholder reflections were made by Technical and development partners, Policy makers, Non-state actors, the Private Sector, and research and academia, and at last, Africa’s call to action was delivered by the conference organizers; African Development Bank, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and Africa Union Commission. | en |
