COM 2015: Plenary Session on Financing for Development; Africa’s Perspective
| dc.description | The Eighth Joint Annual Meetings of the AU Conference of Ministers of the Economy and Finance and ECA Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development was held from 25-31 March 2015 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Conference tackled the theme, Implementing Agenda 2063 - Planning, Mobilizing and Financing for Development in a Ministerial segment from 30-3, which was preceded by an expert’s segment from 25-27 March 2015. Plenary Session on Financing for Development; Africa’s Perspective was held on the last day of the Conference of Ministers, and it was moderated by Mr. Jean-Karim Fall, France 24, and the presentation was made by Dr. Anthony Mothae Maruping, Commissioner for Economic Affairs, African Union Commission; and the panelists were: Ms. Cristina Duarte, Minister of Finance, Cabo Verde; Mr. Seth Terkper, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Ghana; and Ms. Elsie Kanza, Senior Director, Head of Africa, World Economic Forum; Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi, Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. | en |
