| dc.description | The Eighth Joint Annual Meetings of the AU Conference of Ministers of the Economy and Finance and ECA Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development was held from 25-31 March 2015 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Conference tackled the theme, Implementing Agenda 2063 - Planning, Mobilizing and Financing for Development in a Ministerial segment from 30-3, which was preceded by an expert’s segment from 25-27 March 2015. Session on Financing Agenda 2063: Strategies for Domestic Resource Mobilization and Partnerships was held during the Conference. Ms. Lerato Mbele, BBC journalist, moderated it; and the panelists were Mr. Festus Mogae, former President of Botswana; Mr. Nhlanhla Musa Nene, Minister of Finance, South Africa; Mr. Wu Hongbo, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs; Mr. Trevor Manuel, Deputy Chairperson, Rothschild Group; Dr. Frannie Léautier, Co-Founding Partner and Chairperson, Mkoba Private Equity Fund; and Mr. Raphaël Mokoko, Deputy Minister of Economy, Finance and Planning, Congo. | en |
