| dc.description | The seventh African Development Forum (ADF VII) was held in Addis Ababa at the United Nations Conference Center from October 10-15th, 2010, under the theme of “Acting on climate change for Sustainable development in Africa.” The African Union, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, and the African development bank organized the meeting. The meeting was attended by all stakeholders from across the African continent governments, civil society, the private sector, and the UN Agencies.
Plenary Session on Evidence and impact of climate change was held, and the moderator of the Session was Mr. Jeff Koinange, Chief Anchor, Capital Talk show host, K24; the panelists were Mr. Johan Rockstrom, Executive Director, Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI); Dr.Abdalah Mokssit, Vice President of IPCC working GROUP I; H. E. Mr. Brice Lalonde, Former Minister of Environment and current Ambassador for Climate change Negotiations for the government of France. | en |
