| dc.description | The fifty-third session of the Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development was held from 17-23 March 2021 on the theme: Africa’s sustainable industrialization and diversification in the digital era in the context of Covid-19. The Conference was composed of experienced and high-level panelists from inside and outside Africa. It was exciting and engaging, with decisions that will have significant implications for the future of Africa. On Monday, Statements by the host country and the special guests also made the Election of the Bureau. High-level ministerial policy dialogue on the theme of the fifty-third session of the Commission: “Africa’s sustainable industrialization and diversification in the digital era in the context of Covid-19.” Adebayo Adedeji Lecture held on Towards a Developmental Approach to the African Continent Free Trade Area this year.
