The theme for this year’s conference was “Fostering Inclusive and Sustainable Development in Africa in an Age of Global Uncertainty.” The African Economic Conference was attended by over 500 participants. It was a joint initiative of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), the African Development Bank (AfDB), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
