| dc.description | IPCC SREX regional outreach meeting was held on 9-10 May 2012 in Addis Ababa. Dr. Youba Sokona chaired the meeting, Coordinator of the African climate policy center (ACPC), UNECA, and panelists were Dr. Abebe Haile Gabriel, Director REA African Union Commission; Dr. Chris Field, IPCC WGII (co-chair); Minister of Foreign Affairs, Norway and Dr. Tewolde Berhan Gebre Egziabher, Director-General Environmental Protection Agency of Ethiopia.
Delegates were invited to meet youth groups concerned about Ethiopia's environment and climate change.
