| dc.description | Regional Economic Communities Meeting was held on 01 February 2014 during the 22nd Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU). The Regional Economic Communities (RECs) are regional groupings of African states. The Committee comprised the Chairperson of the AU Commission, Chief Executives of the RECs, Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), and Chief Executives of the AU financial institutions. The Committee met at least twice a year prior to Committee on Coordination meetings and was chaired by the AU Commission. | en |
