| dc.description | The African Partnership Forum (APF) special session on climate change was held on 3 September 2009 in Addis Ababa and focused on Africa’s concerns and expectations in the negotiations on a new post-Kyoto agreement on climate change.
The meeting was organized by the African Union (AU) Commission, the NEPAD Secretariat, the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), and the Organization for Economic Development and Cooperation (OECD). The objective of the special session was to mobilize broad support for Africa’s position on climate change to ensure that its concerns were reflected in the outcomes of the fifteenth Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP15 UNFCCC), taking place in December in Copenhagen. | en |
