dc.description	The Economic Commission for Africa hosted the Second Africa Think Tank Summit on the theme, The Rise of Africa’s Think Tanks Practical Solutions to Practical Problems, from 6-8 April 2015. “The enormous economic growth Africa has had or continues to have, has made little dent in poverty. Think tanks can interrogate this rising African narrative and suggest ways in which this growth can be shared,” suggested Abdalla Hamdok, the ECA’s Deputy Executive Secretary, to think tanks, policymakers, governments, and academia at the opening of the 2nd Africa Think tank Summit currently taking place in Addis Ababa.	en
