Consideration and Adoption of the Reports of the Ninth Session of the Committee on Sustainable Development and Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development
| dc.description | The ninth session of the Committee on sustainable development and the Africa regional forum on sustainable development was held on 16-18 June 2015. At its ninth session, the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), Committee on Sustainable Development, discussed the role of technology and innovation in driving economic growth in the region, including considering the African Mining Vision, which envisages drawing on mineral resources to foster sustainable socio-economic development. The Committee had a draft report of the ninth session of the Committee on Sustainable Development and Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development for consideration. The meeting made comments and observations on the draft report. The report was adopted to understand that the agreed amendments incorporated into the final report are to be circulated to all participants at the earliest possible time after the meeting. | en |
