| dc.description | The UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), the African Development Bank (AfDB), and the UN Development Programme (UNDP) organized the sixth African Economic Conference on the theme “Green Economy and Structural Transformation in Africa.” The main objective of the Conference was to provide a platform for experts on Africa to reflect and dialogue on new directions for growth policy on the continent to determine the best approaches to attain the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), achieve the objectives of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) and accelerate Africa’s sustainable development.
