| dc.description | The UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), the African Development Bank (AfDB), and the UN Development Programme (UNDP) was organized the sixth African Economic Conference on the theme “Green Economy and Structural Transformation in Africa.” The main objective of the Conference was to provide a platform for experts on Africa to reflect and dialogue on new directions for growth policy on the continent to determine the best approaches to attain the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), achieve the objectives of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) and accelerate Africa’s sustainable development.
Session on Households and Market Competition was held during the conference.The AfDB’s principal evaluation officer, Guy Blaise Nkamleu, presented a paper on “Extensification versus Intensification: Revisiting the Role of Land in African Agriculture Growth” in the Ethiopian capital. | en |
