| dc.description | The Third International Conference on Financing for Development on the theme of “Time for Global Action” gathered high-level political representatives, including Heads of State and Government, and Ministers of Finance, Foreign Affairs, and Development Cooperation, as well as all relevant institutional stakeholders, non-governmental organizations and business sector entities. The Conference resulted in an intergovernmental negotiation and agreed outcome, which constitute an important contribution to and support the implementation of the post-2015 development agenda. At the conference, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the World Bank signed a declaration of intent to establish a new network of excellence on Land Governance in Africa (NELGA) to better secure land rights across Africa. | en |
