AMCOMET Africa Hydromet Forum 2017
| dc.description | The first AMCOMET-Africa Hydromet Forum was held from September 12 to 15, 2017, at the headquarters of the African Union Commission, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The forum built consensus and momentum for modernizing weather, water, and climate information services and data. The forum brought together representatives from governments, public and private sectors, regional entities, development agencies, and civil society to provide strategic insight to improve hydrologically, meteorological, and early-warning services to achieve climate and disaster resilience as part of a larger sustainable development strategy. It was co-hosted by the African Union Commission and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. | en |
