| dc.description | The closing ceremony of the third international conference on finance for development was held on 16 July 2015. Closing remarks were made. High-level policymakers from across the globe gathered to agree on a new framework to finance the ambitious post-2015 development agenda. The conference ended successfully with adopting the Addis Ababa Action Agenda, agreed upon on 16 July 2015 following months of negotiations between UN member states and with the contribution of international organizations, including the OECD, private sector actors, and civil society groups. The Addis Ababa Action Agenda was adopted by the 193 UN Member States attending the Conference under Ethiopian Foreign Minister Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. | en |
