Opening Ceremony of Third International Conference on Financing for Development
| dc.description | Third International Conference on Financing for Development was held from 13-16 July 2015 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Conference gathered high-level political representatives, including Heads of State and Government, Ministers of Finance, Foreign Affairs, and Development Cooperation, and all relevant institutional stakeholders, non-governmental organizations, and business sector entities. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon remarked at the opening of the third international conference on Financing for Development in Addis Ababa and said, “I thank the government and people of Ethiopia for their generosity and hospitality in hosting this historic Conference. I am grateful to the many heads of state and government and ministers who have joined us here to show their strong commitment to implementing the Addis Ababa Action Agenda. 2015 must be a year for global action.” | en |
