| dc.description | The Macroeconomic Policy and Development Division of ESCAP was held a special seminar for the launch of the publication on 19 January 2015. The world economic situation and prospects (WESP) report was produced at the beginning of each year by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN/DESA), the UN conference on trade and development (UNCTAD), the five UN regional commissions, and the world tourism organization(UNWTO). It was provided an overview of recent global economic performance and short-term prospects for the world economy and some critical global issues in various United Nations entities during the year. | en |
