dc.description	A Meeting of directors of the national statistics office on data revolution was held on 21-22 January 2016. The meeting was organized as a particular ad hoc experts’ group meeting, under the auspices of ECA, AUC, and AfDB, to provide a forum for that review through a focused discussion on the role of NSOs in implementing the data revolution in Africa. The meeting also provided a forum to prepare for common African positions on issues to be discussed by the 47th Session of the UN Statistical Commission.	en
