United Nations Day 2018

dc.description	The United Nations family in Ethiopia joined the rest of the world in celebrating UN Day on Wednesday 24 October 2018. The United Nations Day marks the birthday of our founding Charter – the landmark document that embodies the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of “we the peoples”. The UN family, Host Country Representatives, the African Union, and members of the Diplomatic Corps celebrated the UN Day with a flag-raising ceremony, a message from the Secretary-General, a riveting performance by a Youth-for-Peace group, and a tree-planting ceremony.	en
